it was a normal day in the Glenmore lands.  the sun was shining down on the land, the warm breeze kissed the land.  Sweet promises of a cool day despised the days of heat lately. Terrwyn was waking up in her den, with a loud yawn, slowly getting up to greet the day. The day before she managed to  make the field around her den to bloom in full  Terrwyn passed out shortly afterwards.  she was out until the sun doved down.  Smiling when she got out of the den to see the flowers the day before still in bloom.  She took off to the small stream near her den to drink the cool fresh water. She was content with the past few days working on her magic.  Winter was coming and with that rut will be approaching.  She frowned at this.  She has been alone since she was two years old.  Since then she hasn’t see any fawnling since her mother.  Hard to say, but she wasn’t upset over being alone.  She thrived on it, who could boss her around now, no one can. She could work on her magic in peace and quiet. She didn’t have to do the stupid manners her mother tried to drill in her, she was free to do whatever. *twig snapped*  Terrwyn raised her head looking for the source of the noise.  After a brief period, the area was still calmed.  Terrwyn decided to leave and head back to her den sight. She trotted up to the area when the wind changed direction and the scent of a wolf was in the wind.  She went on alert now, Standing tall waiting for the vile creature to come out of the tree line.  She heard a twig break once again in the north direction.  She moved her head in time of the wolf’s lunge  for her throat. She turned quickly in time to buck hitting the wolf in its shoulder.  The wolf landed on the top of her den. With nothing to lose she called the vines to do her bidding.  The Wolf Howled in pain for the vines grabbed and pulled the wolf down. The wolf tried to break free of the vines to no avail.  The more the wolf struggled the tighter Terrwyn’s vines covered the poor creature.  Soon the wolf was struggling no more.  Terrwyn collapsed to her knees.  She was breathing hard and very frightened. She had never killed an animal before.  After a few minutes she passed out.

Terrwyn didn't know how long for sure she was asleep, but when she woke up again it was dusk.  She was sore from sleeping on the hard ground.  She shook her head fully waking up.  She slowly rose up and headed for the stream.  When she had her fill of the cool water, she headed towards her den once more. When she came closer she smelled the wolf scent near her den.  She then remembered the fight with the wolf.  She was too tired to get the wolf out of the vines, sighing she curled up in her den.  “At least no more wolves will bother me.” Terrwyn soon closed her eyes and went to rest.
